Inside the Piano Studio
THE STUDIO
There are two pianos side by side in my Cambridge home studio for optimal learning and playing duets during piano lessons:
Near piano: Roland Grand Piano Model GP-607
Far piano: Roland Keyboard Model FP-E50
WAITING AREA
Parents and families have a comfortable area to sit, read, or do work during their child's piano lessons and charge their phone if needed. There is also a table available for siblings to do school work.
VIRTUAL LESSONS
For virtual piano lessons using Zoom, the studio is set up with two high quality microphones (one for the piano and one close to me), a laptop, and two cameras (one looking down on keys and one from the side.) Assignments are written electronically on an iPad and emailed to students at the conclusion of the lesson. Zoom lessons can be recorded and saved for review between lessons.
