Work great for children and adults with busy schedules or students that live anywhere in Canada, for snow days when you have access to a piano, when your child is contagious, but is still feeling well enough for a lesson, or during mayor weather events when all my lessons are switched to online learning. Each class is 30 or 45 minutes and students attend once a week via Zoom.

MINIMUM EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Acoustic piano or digital piano with 88 touch-sensitive keys and a pedal.
Computer with a high speed internet connection (connected to your modem with an ethernet cable), or a newer iPad that can be positioned close to your piano. The faster the connection, the better the audio and video quality of our lessons.
If you don’t have access to an ethernet cable, a wifi booster will ensure the best connection possible.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR A BETTER LESSON EXPERIENCE
A high quality USB microphone will substantially improve the quality of the audio.
A set of external speakers will increase the quality of the audio.
Headphones, air pods, earbuds etc. are another option if you don’t have external speakers.
A good quality external webcam will allow your teacher to see you much better.
AUDIO AND VIDEO TIPS

Always connect your ethernet cord from your laptop to your modem to eliminate some of the lag time that can be experienced during online piano lessons.

Keep your computer or iPad power cord plugged in throughout the duration of the lesson to avoid disruptions.

Position your microphone so that it can pick up the sound of your voice and the piano only.

You may choose to use a headset instead of external speakers to reduce echo.

Use a laptop computer or a newer iPad instead of another type of tablet or smartphone except a ChromeBook.
HOW TO ENROLL
After receiving your message via the contact form I will reach out to you to set up a brief interview to meet each other, test equipment setup, and schedule your weekly lessons. After you have enrolled and payment has been received, lessons will begin. On your lesson day, take the time to set up your equipment, login a few minutes in advance and your teacher will contact you at your lesson time.
